Unfortunately all good trips always seem to have a way of ending long before you're ready for them to.
Our trip to Utah was mainly to see our kids and meet our youngest granddaughter for the first time but it also gave us the chance to finally be able to bring back my things that have been in storage all these years; thus the U-Haul. Brian, Mark, my friend Cynthia; who is serving a mission in Salt Lake, and myself spent most of the day on Saturday loading this big guy and we hit the road the next morning. Thanks Cynthia!! You were a major help and it was so good to see you.
Not sure why we didn't get pictures of us doing that. Or when I spent a little time with Cynthia when we were all done loading. Or when Brian, Shalee, Mark and I went out for dinner at the Brazilian restaurant that was amazing!!! Or why we didn't have someone take pictures of us all together. We had planned to have Shalee's sister-in-law; who is an amazing photographer, do family pictures but unfortunately she had to bow out. Then we planned to go to Penny's and have some nice family pictures done but we ran out of time. Then there was the really nice Escalade that the car rental company upgraded us to for the same price as a van because they didn't have any available so we could all fit in one car!!! No pics there either... but I'm coming to realize that sometimes trips are a learning curve, even for us old dogs! Next time we will do better but for now those memories are sealed in our minds and in our hearts. Thanks Brian, Shalee, Tyson, and Brooklynn for sharing 10 wonderful days with us. We had a wonderful time and we look forward to the next trip! Love you!
