Today was a special day because I got to do something I haven't done in a long time...OK wise crackers out there saying..."Go to church??"...yeah...yeah...so y'all are right but besides that! I got to sing with Heather in sacrament! It was wonderful not only singing again but singing with my daughter. Our voices blend so well together, I just love it. We sang 'Did You Think to Pray?' and we did it without accompaniment! As we sang that beautiful hymn the congregation was so very still, and the spirit was very strong. I am always amazed at how music when well done, and believe me when I say that it is not because I am trying to be boastful of prideful but when music is well done "...with an eye single to to the glory of God..." it always amazes me how strong the spirit is. I think that is why I love singing so much because I can't get enough of how that makes me feel and when you look out upon those you are singing to and can tell that the spirit is touching them as well, it just gives you that feeling that you have shared the gospel on a totally different level. Music is such a part of my soul, I pray I will never have to experience not having this special gift any more. I pray that is one thing the Lord will allow me to keep even when I am an old woman.
