There's a Storm Moving In! August 01, 2012

When we left Rachelle's there was a thunderstorm moving in so we stopped so I could get some pictures of the lightning.
These turned out kinda cool because I was able to not only get some lightning in the clouds but the moon as well.
I put it on fast action in hope of catching some of the lightning but it still wasn't fast enough.  Still learning how to use my camera.
I think they still turned out pretty cool though for my first attempt at trying to catch a storm on my camera.
This one you can see the lightening a little better...
But this one is my favorite by far!!
Mark doesn't see why I think thunderstorms are so great or get so excited when they occur but we rarely ever get them in Washington and that is one of the things I miss about living in the south, that and the night sounds and the smells of wild jasmine, magnolia, honeysuckle, and gardenia.  My hope is that some day we will at least live where we get some descent thunderstorms...and snow!
