The rain was pouring down and we were having a pretty incredible thunderstorm as we left the spa! Oh well, we didn't care...we felt too good to care!! So into the car and off we went!
This was just one of the many beautiful homes we passed by. Next trip I'll take more pictures of architecture I hope. This trip gave me a good idea of what pictures to take when we go back in October.
Our next stop...
Heather and I had so much fun looking for clothes for the girls! Maybe even a teeny weeny bit too much fun...well at least Grammy that is!! Oh well...it's just money!!! lol
While we shopped the rain poured down and the heavens rumbled!
After our hard work looking for clothes we were famished so we did what we had to do...head for Italian food!
I can only think of one other Italian restaurant I would want to eat at and unfortunately that's here in Washington. I love Carrabba's and we don't have them out here so away we went.
The first thing we did was order an appetizer of Mozzarella Sticks...which they ended up bringing us Bruschette. Heather and I looked at each other like...uhhh...this isn't what we ordered. Our server comes over and sees the Bruschette's and says, "...hmmmm...that's not what you ordered!!" So he says," ...enjoy them while I go get your mozzarella sticks!" So believe me we did! And we enjoyed the Mozzarella stick when they came as well!.
Next came our salads which were OK...But our entrees!! Oh my bug...yummmmm!!!
I had Pollo Rosa Maria and Heather had Sirloin Marsala. They were so good and we had to take them home because there was just too much food to eat!
Of course no birthday dinner is complete without dessert. So we chose...oh wait...we didn't choose anything because we were too stuffed!
We had such a fun day it was hard to see it come to an end.
Thanks sweetie for letting me take you on this special day. As I said before, it is one I will never forget, and something that I hope we will be able to do many more times! Love you!
