This is our wonderful 12 year old grandson Brandon who is becoming a great outdoors man.
This picture was taken almost a year ago when Mark and I traveled to Ft. Polk Army Post in Louisiana to visit Brandon and his family. They had a wonderful little catfish pond on post and we were able to take the boys fishing there. Although we didn't catch anything the two days we went out; and unfortunately they don't let you fish at night, we had a lot of fun! Brandon loves to fish and hunt and is a BIG sports fan.
Brandon is an excellent baseball player and has played since Kindergarten. He also plays football. For the second year in a row he and his Papa Mark are fantasy football partners. Brandon also loves to play basketball and can been seen most nights in front of his house shooting hoops with the rest of the neighborhood boys.
He is very active in the Boy Scouts and had a great time this summer at Scout Camp and a canoe trip with his troop.
He is very active in his priesthood quorum at church serving as a deacon and passing the Sacrament every Sunday.
He has a heart of gold and is always quick with a hug and a smile, as well as an encouraging word.
