#1 Son and Daughter-in-law

This is our handsome son Brian and beautiful daughter-in-law Shalee. They recently had a most life-changing experience come their way...they became parents! On August 10TH they became the proud Mommy and Daddy of a beautiful baby boy; whom in my next entry I will tell you more about.
Brian works for a company called Converges(SP) that does all the paperwork for
American Express. He works in Customer Service.
Shalee works for a Veterinary Clinic and is an Assistant Manager and Vet Assistant.
They recently bought their first home and are having a lot of fun making it their own.
We had a wonderful time in May celebrating our special day with them. Although Brian also calls South Carolina home, he is a true-blue Mariner's fan. He loves baseball with a passion, and he will talk sports till your ears fall off. Brian is a whiz at sport statistics and enjoys talking with Mark; whom he calls Popi (like Big Popi) almost nightly about whatever sport is in season. Shalee is a talented baker and fisherman and is as sweet as the day is long. Last October when we went to visit them we took Brian and Shalee fishing. I don't recall every going fishing with my son before; but he says he went fishing with his Young Men's group from our church when he was a teenager. I think Shalee was just about born with a fishing pole in her hand. Brian wasn't all that wild about taking the fish off the hook...sorry son...but it's true...but dog-gone his hide, he caught more fish than any of us!!! As fast as I could get one off and rebate his hook he was catching another one. I don't think my pole ever hit the water. It's become the source of many wonderful memories and I have know doubt it's the beginning of many more.
