Meet Alexander...
AKA: Alex or AJ. Alex is 9 years old and is an accelerated learner. It doesn't surprise me that he is always in a hurry to get somewhere or to advance in what he is learning because he couldn't even wait the full 9 months before he was to be born. Alex arrived 9 1/2 weeks early and weighed-in at a whopping 4lbs 1oz. We can't remember just how long he was but I do remember the first time I held him in the Nic-U. He was the tiniest baby I'd ever held and I thought I would lose him in my arms! It was like holding a child's small doll in the crook of your arm.
Alex, like his Papa Mark, loves science and one day he would like to be an astronaut. On our visit last year he and his Papa Mark had a lot of fun doing all kinds of experiments with a chemistry set we had given Alex. Now there are two mad scientists in our family!
Alex enjoys sports and plays baseball. Like his big brothers, he can also be seen at the basketball hoop with the other neighborhood boys. He is very active in his Cub Scout troop and got to attend Day Camp this summer. He is a good helper and is very good about keeping his part of the room neat. He is also a great hugger!!!
